Greetings,

It hardly seems possible that 2017 has come and gone, and yet CAAR members can proudly look back at some significant contributions and impactful volunteer service hours to our community. Thanks to each of you for your steadfast commitment and dedication to ensure that we remain mission centered and achieve significant results.

In keeping with our Mission Statement, we want to identify, network, and collaborate with organizations needing assistance in achieving community based goals. Our nation, and indeed our community, is experiencing unrest and political turmoil. We must, with renewed vigor and intense focus seek to mobilize our efforts in ways that continue to allow us to “be the voice” that makes a difference by offering a hand up and an assured hope.

In addition to our ongoing mentoring and advocacy efforts, we will need to give strong support to our newly formed Political Action Committee to ensure our collective voice is heard. As we face uncertain times across this nation with new and difficult leadership at all levels of government, it is clear that now more than ever our efforts are needed to make a difference in the lives of others. We have achieved much, yet there is still crucial work to be done as we look to expand our reach into new areas of need within our community. Thanks to each member and supporter of CAAR for your unwavering support as we move forward this year united in our quest of fulfilling our Mission Statement.
